Returnal UI & Hologram shaders

Various work I did for Returnal. I mostly worked on the UI related material/shader work, focusing on a lot of the Astra technology related shaders such as HUD, suit computer, map and the scan holograms.

I worked on the holograms that can be seen used for all the collectibles when the player inspects them, along with the shader used in the databank to visualize the items in similar fashion.

Video preview of the in-world hologram. There's some animations when activating and deactivating the effect. This video doesn't have a preview of a fresh scan of an item, which has its own sequence to slowly construct the hologram from pixel like parts.

Preview from the Databank & Character view. Most of the meshes visualized in the Suit Computer will use the same shader to draw them (Items, characters, enemies).

Minimap on the HUD and on the wrist computer screen. I created the shader with help from Sharman Jagadeesan, our graphics programmer, who created the custom renderer for specifically the map. I used Notepad++ and HLSL to write the shader.
